Every laser-cut part leaves the table with two problems: burrs and oxide. Both slow everything downstream, burrs cut hands and ruin coating edges; oxide wrecks weld quality and paint adhesion. Grinding them off works but changes part geometry and leaves its own scratch pattern. Rotary brush deburring removes the burr and the oxide while leaving the part dimensionally exactly as cut.
Rotating abrasive brush heads, the same flexible-media principle as our wood systems, with media matched to metal, sweep the part surface and edges. The flexible filaments reach cut edges and interior contours a belt never touches, shearing burrs and rounding edges to a consistent radius, which is what coating adhesion specs actually ask for.
Consumables run on the same logic as the wood side: deburring discs and brush media replace on the machine, not with it. Deburring systems are quoted to part size, material and throughput, request a quote with a sample part drawing, or call 1-866-888-5858.
